Bow Valley Ultra
While the Bow Valley Ultra will not be moving forward, the heart behind it remains. This 100 mile dream was built on community, connection, and a deep love for the trails we call home and the stewards behind their care. Though the Bow Valley Ultra won’t happen as planned, we’re proud of how far we came and grateful for the racers, partners, and supporters who believed in the vision.
The dream isn’t over; it’s simply evolving. Thank you for being part of the journey.
We will host a low-key, unmarked BVU Fun Run on the original race weekend (Sept 27, 2025). Similar to our early year zero scout run during 2024, there will be no formal start, limited aid, and participants will be responsible for their own logistics - but just like that run, it'll be a celebration of fitness, good vibes and a life changing community.
Stay tuned to Lewiston Ultra Events & RunUphill for details.
Shuswap Ultra
We have made the incredibly difficult decision to pause on Shuswap Ultra for 2024. This is not good bye. This is a pause; to re-evaluate what makes sense for the Shuswap community and what supports the run communities and trail system.
Please know, this decision did not come lightly. We’ve navigated multiple distances, different dates, switching directions, the pandemic, volunteer burn out, different routes and so forth. It has definitely been a wild ride and one we are grateful for.
The Shuswap Trails and community are an absolute gem and the Larch Hills traverse is something beyond magical that is completely community driven. This pause is to realign our intention for the Shuswap Ultra which was always to best support community and the trail system.
Thank you for an incredible 6 years of support; we are forever grateful for the friendships and relationships. Joy finds space & we are beyond stoked to have gone out with an incredible 2023 event & hosting one of the El Cruce feeder series events for Saucony Canada.
